Ariadne One of my closest friends in Deerington! Airy's my neighbor in the apartment building, and she plays the flute and sings beautifully. At home, she used to work in a royal court as a translator. She's really kind and has helped me out with all sorts of things, from learning new songs to exploring the memories that are scattered around the town. She looks human most of the time, but it's really a disguise. She's actually an Alastrian, with green skin and blue hair. Apparently humans where she comes from really don't like them, which is why she hides it. I understand why she feels like she needs to, but I hope she can feel comfortable looking like herself around more of us as time goes on.	Fern A really good guitar and flute player and a knight from a land called Ooo. I've been teaching him guitar, but he learns fast, so I don't know how much longer he'll need my help. He seems kind of down on himself a lot of the time, and I sort of worry about that, so I try to be really encouraging during our lessons! I think it helps, at least. He says he's made of grass because he used to be two swords and one of those swords used to be a human boy named Finn and I don't really understand it but I think it might be part of why he worries so much?
Ange She's really stoic and serious, and she likes to pretend like she doesn't care about other people, but she's actually really nice. She's always looking out for me at least, and while she's more suspicious of things than I am I still really appreciate it. Apparently her whole family passed away when she was little, and people were really awful to her afterwards in school. I think her aunt, who looked after her afterwards was really severe too? She doesn't seem to like talking about it though. I don't blame her, and I don't want to push, but I hope she opens up if she feels like she needs to at any point.	Vyng A shapeshifter and a harpist! The first time I met him he was a crow, but that's not what he usually looks like. He can be kind of goofy sometimes, but he's really kindhearted and wise, and talked me through some of what I was going through right after I arrived. I still think about that conversation a lot. He checks in on me every now and then to make sure I'm doing okay, which I really appreciate because sometimes I... really haven't been, and he's been a big help when that's happened.
Mako We met in one of the Dog Keeper's visions when a big three-headed dog that looked a lot like Cerberus attacked us. It could breathe fire, but he was able to control the flames and keep them from burning us somehow. Then a rat bit me and I thought I was in love with him for a little bit. I wrote him a song. He's dating someone else though, so it turned out okay even if I did tell them about Eurydice and make things awkward. His partner is really nice! They both are.	Michael He says he's a demon, which is a kind of immortal being that works in the afterlife, doing terrible things to people. Kind of like the Furies, I think? He also says they're supposed to be inherently evil, but I don't think that's true. For one thing, I'm not sure anyone is inherently good or bad, and for another, he's been really nice to me every time we talked and he looks after the Wastes, which I think is a really kind thing to do. An evil person wouldn't bother with any of that. Back when Varian and Fern and a bunch of the others were trying to get out of Deerington using portals, he turned into a giant squid that was on fire to try to keep Roderick from hurting anyone. I still haven't asked him about that.
Martin A really friendly person who rescued me from mechanical bears when I was new in town! He's one of the first people who advised me to stock up on supplies in case things start going wrong here, and saw one of the Dog-Keeper's memories with me. I think he's kind of suspicious of Julia, but I guess that's kind of fair? Especially since it seemed like he was more worried about what might happen to us if she dies or something. He has a whistle that summons a terrible fog that, um. Reminded me of some things I'd rather not think about, and I'd really like it if he never used it around me again.	Alex She's a reporter who helped me make a deal with some water nymphs that were in town for a little while by trading them a story in exchange for them not drowning anyone. She's really smart and curious and brave, and I respect her a lot. She helped talk me through some doubts I was having about myself after the thing with the portals went really badly, and while I still don't feel like I contributed much I appreciate her thoughts about it. Apparently she's pretty good with a crossbow too?
Jezebel He might be one of the first people I met in Deerington, back in the little room in the church where we had to confess to things we felt guilty about. I don't actually know much about him, other than that he's a medical doctor, and that his father was a cruel man who made him complicit in the things he did, and that he died rather than leave. He seems kind of stoic and severe, but he's helped me out a lot of times!	Wu Mako's partner, and the person the Archangel possessing Sam Winchester killed after he killed me. I feel really bad about what happened to him, and also about the time I thought I was in love with his partner for a bit, because he's a really nice person who doesn't deserve any of that. He doesn't seem upset with me about that second one, though, so I guess it's all fine? He and Mako are the ones trying to coordinate keeping stockpiles of food and supplies around Deerington, and he seems really good at coordinating stuff like that.
Varian An engineer and scientist from the kingdom of Corona, which I guess is somewhere in Europe? Either way, he's really smart and one of the people trying to figure out a safe way out of Deerington for all of us. He seems like he can get kind of reckless sometimes, and according to Fern he has some of the same problems I do with focusing too hard on some things and forgetting about eating or sleeping, but he's really nice and fun to talk to even if I don't always understand what we're talking about. He and Fern are partners, and they seem really good for each other.	Clarisse One of my cousins here! She's a daughter of Ares, but from a time long after me. She's really blunt and always seems to say exactly what she's thinking, which can be kind of hurtful sometimes? But mostly I appreciate not having to guess. Apparently in her time the titans rose up from their imprisonment and went to war with the gods, and she and a bunch of other demigods she grew up with were caught in the conflict. She doesn't really think all that highly of the gods now, and I guess I can't really blame her.
Nico My other cousin here! Or first cousin once removed, technically? He's a son of Hades, though I don't think Persephone is his mother, which um. Bodes poorly, but apparently the seasons are still working fine in his time, so I guess there's nothing to worry about. He seems really serious and kind of grim a lot of the time, but he can be really nice when he wants to be. I think the way death works here in Deerington kind of throws him off.	Manabu An officer of the SDF, which I think is kind of like being police and kind of like being search and rescue? He's also been to other planets, and is from a world where you can get between them by train. I don't really know how that works, but it sounds incredible. He's really friendly and worries a lot about everyone else in town and their safety, which makes sense what with his job? But he seems kind of high strung sometimes, and I worry about him a little.
Glitch A fellow guitarist. I was teaching him for a while, but uh, then he lost an arm thanks to Darth Maul, and while I think he might be able to get a replacement thanks to some really incredible engineers in town he doesn't seem sure he'll still be able to play. He seems kind of gloomy - I mean, even before he lost the arm, and I worry about him a bit, but I really don't know much about him.	Arid An artificial intelligence! Which means she's a being that was created in order to serve a purpose, though she doesn't let that original purpose define who she is now. She's piloting a suit of armor with nothing inside of it, and can take off her head, which I'd really prefer she never do in front of me again. She can be kind of intense and really serious about things, which can get kind of scary sometimes? But she's really good about being honest about what she's thinking, and I appreciate that a lot.
Vira-Lorr One of the people who works at F.E.A.R, I think? She's really smart, though, and I think she might know more about what's going on here in Deerington than almost anyone else. I mostly run into her when looking for ways to reach out to Julia's friends and family. She was an advocate for trying to talk to Roderick peacefully, and helped me when I ran into Cynthia when she was the Moon Presence.	K He has a longer name, but it's got numbers in it and I can't remember it all. Sorry. He's trying to learn to be a composer, though, and I think he said that's hard for him, because he's an artificial intelligence, which means he was made by someone for a purpose. I didn't ask him what that purpose was, because that seems like it might be personal? But I'm guessing it wasn't writing music. He's really nice, though, and plays the viola really well.
Usagi I've only spoken to her twice, but she seems really nice, and she has a lot of musician friends! She helped me figure out what was going on with me and get me to F.E.A.R. when I was attacking people in my sleep, too, which I'm really grateful for.	Sam Winchester I thought he killed me for a little while, but it was actually an angel possessing him. Apparently he was destined to serve as his vessel from birth, because angels can only possess people of certain bloodlines? I don't really understand it, but I can't imagine what he's been through, having his fate tied to someone like that. We've only talked a little, but he seems nice, if really sad and terribly worn down most of the time. I guess I know why, now.
"Stefan" One time when the town turned us into other versions of ourselves and I was a siren he killed me? I think it's because he was scared of what my song was doing to him, and he's asked me not to sing around him. It seems like he's been through something really bad and has seen a lot of things that people maybe shouldn't have to. I think he might really need someone to talk to about that. I don't know if I should be that person? But I hope he finds someone.	Darth Maul I think he said his people are called Zabrak, and that his tattoos are a traditional clan marking thing. He's from another planet on top of also probably being from another universe? And has traveled to a lot of others. He was nice to me when I talked to him, and seemed to like hearing stories from my world? But apparently something happened to him and he murdered a lot of people, and later he cut off Glitch's arm. I don't really know what to think about any of it.
"The Archangel" The angel possessing Sam Winchester. Angels are immortal beings like demons, but Michael says they're supposed to be the good ones. Not this one, though. He sees humanity as vermin who are destroying the world, and wants to wipe us all out. It seems more personal than that, though? He's cruel and vicious, and he killed me and Wu both. Sam says he's killed gods, back in the world they come from. I know it's a different world, but I hope Hermes and Persephone and the others are okay.
